Job description
Hackonomics is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing an experience to help educate and grow insight into computer science and economics. We have had over 50 interns previously and are looking for permanent members for our team. This will encompass over our 5 branches:
Competition: Managing our annual hackathons
Marketing: Contacting school districts about our curriculum
Business: Contacting hackathon sponsors
Curriculum: Developing our financial literacy and microeconomics curriculum
Research: A new branch we are creating to publish research of authors as part of an accredited journal.
Leadership positions will be given after the application process.
Responsibilities
Expectations are to meet attendance requirements which will be stated of our weekly meetings.
Any delay must be communicated with due time before the end of the judging period. We will not award certificates to judges who have done significantly less than their quota of projects without giving us prior notice.
Communications
You will be referred to join a Discord server where we post updates and communicate with judges.
Please be patient with responses, we receive hundreds of applications each cycle and will contact you by email if accepted.
Rewards
Certificate of membership with personal name and title.
Addition to our website of contributors to the organization.
Annual Reports on impact numbers and initiatives.
Open
Members help organize and support us on a wide range of tasks from curriculum and logistics to assisting with the hackathon. (Roles assigned after)
