Job description

Hackonomics is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing an experience to help educate and grow insight into computer science and economics. We have had over 1600 students register for our previous competitions, and your role as a judge would be to rate projects based on our five criteria by giving a rating of each from 1-5.

Responsibilities
Judging submissions, the next window will be from June 02 at 2:00PM EDT to June 11 at 12:00PM EDT. We offer over a week in judging this year, taking advice from last year's event. Judging typically will take a few hours of commitment.

Any delay must be communicated in due time before the end of the judging period. We will not award certificates to judges who have done significantly less than their quota of projects without giving us prior notice.


Qualifications

Work in fields related to computer science or economics and have a past or pursue a bachelor's degree. Job experience is also recommended.

Communications
You will be referred to join a Discord server where we post updates and communicate with judges. This is the second year of Discord being required for participation as a judge.

Please be patient with responses; we receive hundreds of applications each cycle and will contact you by email if accepted.
